Curriculum

The P3 Program requires students take the P3 Specialization Core Courses (the P3 foundation course - The Fundamentals of Predictive Plant Phenomics (BCB/GDCB/M E 585), Statistics (either STAT 483/583 or the sequence of STAT 587/571, STAT 587/588, STAT 587/581, or STAT 587/AGRON 526), Responsible Conduct of Research (GR ST 565), Entrepreneurship for Graduate Students in Science and Engineering (E E 693X, cross-listed), and the P3 Program Graduate Seminar (M E 600 - trainees enroll each semester listed below). The trainees are also required to take three technical electives in the student’s discipline of focus, two courses in their second discipline, and one course in the remaining discipline.

Any graduate student at Iowa State University may register for these courses.
