Predictive Plant Phenomics (P3) is holding a boot camp for students joining this graduate program specialization.

You can view the full schedule of the P3 boot camp here (which includes locations and details); please note, this document may be updated from time to time as research obligations sometimes conflict with boot camp plans.

If you are interested in attending the full P3 boot camp and becoming a P3 trainee then email Nicole (nmscott@iastate.edu) for more information.

Only P3 trainees may attend all of the P3 boot camp events, including field trips (which includes literal trips to fields!).

As it has done in past years, P3 is opening some of its workshops to students from any graduate program at ISU. Below are the workshops that are being offered to ALL GRADUATE STUDENTS:

·         August 14, 2-5pm, Data Skills workshop: Introduction to Python

·         August 15, 9-11:30am, An Introduction to Statistical Reasoning for Plant Phenomics

·         August 15, 12:30-2pm, Introduction to Machine Learning

·         August 15, 2-5pm, Data Skills workshop: Introduction to UNIX

·         August 16, 9-11:30am, Introduction to Engineering: Packaging a Pringle

·         August 16, 2-5pm, Data Skills workshop: Data Applications

·         August 19, 2-5pm, Data Skills workshop: More Data Applications

·         August 22, 1:30-3:30pm, Science communication workshop: Portal to the Public

Some of these events have limited seats, so you must REGISTER for each event you will attend. You may register for individual workshops here.
