P3 graduate students have organized a new, virtual Discussion Series for the Fall 2020 semester. The series focuses on careers in predictive plant phenomics and will provide a combination of research findings and career advice. Speakers will represent a number of career paths and industries.

The first speaker in the series was Rishi R. Masalia of LeafWorks, a genomic startup company based in Northern California. He met with P3 students on Thursday, September 10th at 10:30 am via Zoom.   

Future series offerings will follow a similar format as this discussion: each will be a 15-minute presentation followed by questions and discussion. The series schedule is still being finalized, but upcoming talks will be advertised to P3-participating major programs. Video recordings may be made available for each session on the P3 YouTube channel and through the P3 website.
