Colleen Yanarella,a 2019 Predictive Plant Phenomics fellow and graduate student in Bioinformatics & Computational Biology, was named to the 2020 class of Reiman Gardens Science Communication Fellows. 

Kevin Chiteri, a 2020 Predictive Plant Phenomics fellow and graduate student in Interdisciplinary Genetics & Genomics, was also name to the 2020 class of Reiman Gardens Science Communication Fellows.

As a Reiman Gardens Science Communication Fellow they each will become certified through Portal to the Public as current science ambassadors and excellent communicators. Through this program, they will participate in a science communication course, create a hands-on activity related to their individual research projects and practice accessible communication skills with visitors to the gardens throughout the spring.
