P3 Program Small Research Grant Application

Webform

The Small Research Grants Program supports projects in the area of predictive plant phenomics with budgets up to $5,000 for projects up to one year. We anticipate that proposals will span a wide range of topics and disciplines that innovatively investigate questions central to the area of predictive plant phenomics. The projects can be individual or team-based.

Proposals must be for academic research projects that aim to study methods for applying technology and data science to plant science. Principal Investigators (PIs) and Co-PIs applying for a Small Research Grant must be a graduate student.

Please note: the amount to be reimbursed is limited to the amount awarded, or the lesser actual value. You will only be reimbursed for the actual amount spent. You may request for P3 to pay the costs directly rather than reimbursement, but you must work with the program coordinator to arrange the payment. This service is not guaranteed.
